Need assistance or want to volunteer with ice storm cleanup efforts?
The City of Round Rock’s Community and Neighborhood Services Department has received several requests from residents needing assistance with clearing fallen tree limbs, as well as residents who want to help others in the aftermath of this week’s ice storm.
Created in 2012, Community and Neighborhood Services hosts several directed cleanups in Round Rock neighborhoods throughout the year. Now, the Department is working to facilitate connections so volunteers can assist fellow Round Rock residents who are unable to clear tree limbs from their property due to being elderly, disabled, recent surgery, illness or other special circumstances.
If you would like to be added to the list of volunteers, please send an email to neighborhoods@roundrocktexas.gov with the subject line “Offer to Volunteer” with the following information:
- Name
- Days and times you are available
- Any special skills or tools like a chain saw
- If you are part of a larger organized group (family, church organization, workplace), how many are in your group
