2.4% of Caldwell County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Caldwell County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 495 people out of the 45,286 living in Caldwell County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Caldwell County has decreased compared to the 2.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Caldwell County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
