We encourage those who normally visit the Kyle Tax Office for in-person service to consider conducting business using any of the alternatives below:

Motor Vehicle

• Renew your registration online and SAVE $1.00: www.texas.gov

• Renew your registration by mail: 712 S. Stagecoach Trail, STE. 1120, San Marcos, TX 78666

• Visit ANY H-E-B store in Hays County. (NOT expired more than one month)

Must be the recorded owner and vehicle must have been registered in Hays

County in the prior year. Bring renewal notice, valid ID, insurance & inspection.

• Use a drop box: Drop boxes can be found outside ALL tax office locations.

• Use the drive-thru at our San Marcos location.
