Things we love about SXSW

The countdown is on as we are just days away from one of the largest gatherings in town, SXSW. SXSW is 10 glorious days of discovery and inspiration, attracting some of the best creatives from across the globe. There's no doubt that the conference and festival bring unending opportunities to our region - including the first-ever Austin Industry Day, which opens the Creative Industries Expo to the public. Read below to find some of our staff member's favorite parts of SXSW.

• I look forward all year to SXSW—hosting friends from home, breaking out the summer dresses, and seeing “those guys” that I only ever see this one time of the year, but then see day after day at fully half of the day-parties and showcases I attend because we apparently like exactly the same music.The dependable appreciation of Austin that you get whenever you’re telling a stranger in another city where you are from usually seems to come back to SXSW.
