DivInc is a non-profit startup accelerator for underrepresented founders in tech-based startups in Austin with a second location in Houston. They have partnered with Chevron and Microsoft to offer an accelerator for Clean Energy Startups. They are accepting applications for this accelerator program through February 10, 2023Their 12-week tech startup development programs accelerate your business growth. DivInc will connect your business to a network of industry-specific mentors and investors, and provide the critical resources you need to turn your idea into a thriving company.

  • As part of the accelerator, you will gain access to:
  • A $10,000 grant upon completion of the program to jumpstart your next phase.
  • Trusted partners there to share insider knowledge and help you navigate the startup world.
  • World-class curriculum designed to accelerate you and your company’s development.
  • 100+ Subject matter experts and mentors from leading tech companies and organizations.
  • 1-on-1 support and private resources available on demand to all DivInc alumni.
  • Co-working space in Austin & Houston and a network of entrepreneurs worldwide.

To apply for this program please ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • Your company is based in the US
  • Your company is led by an underrepresented founder
  • Your for-profit company uses tech to address challenges in innovative ways
  • You are able to commit 10 - 15 hours per week during the 12 week program
  • Your company must have a solution that is already built and ready for growth, or that’s in MVP/beta and ready for immediate use in a pilot
  • Your company is working to shift the energy sector in one of the following areas: clean energy production, energy storage and transmission, energy efficiency, carbon economy, and sustainable cities.
