Parks and Rec’s spring sports and event schedule appeals to first-time athletes and adults | City of College Station

If the new year has you or your child hankering for something new, the Parks and Recreation Department’s spring sports lineup appeals to first-time athletes and adults alike. If you prefer to spectate, we also have a packed tournament schedule.

You don’t even have to live in College Station.

Here’s a list of our spring sports programs:

Youth Programs

  • FUNdamental Field Hockey – register by March 22
  • Junior Beginner Tennis – register by March 23
  • Junior Intermediate Tennis – register by March 23
  • Junior Round-Robin Tennis – register by March 26
  • High-Performance Tennis Academy – register by March 26
  • Introduction to Rugby – register by April 3
Adult Programs

  • Softball League – register by Feb. 12
  • Kickball League – register by Feb. 12
  • Volleyball League – register by March 5
  • Ultimate Frisbee League – register by March 7
  • Basketball League – register by March 19
  • Round-Robin Tennis League – register by March 21
  • Intermediate Tennis – register by March 22
  • Beginner Tennis – register by March 26
  • High-Performance Tennis Academy – register by March 26
Sports Tourism

We’re also welcoming new events as we continue to support established events to boost our economy through sports tourism. Here are the events coming to town this spring:

  • The Cup 2023, Feb. 11-12
  • NFCA Texas High School Softball Leadoff Classic, Feb. 16-18
  • Bomber Shootout, March 4-5
  • PGF Super Select Southwest Championship, March 10-12
  • Next Gen Pro Combine, April 1
  • Next Gen, April 1-2
  • Aggieland Classic, April 22-23
