“Holiday Prelude” Kicks Off Holiday Season on Tuesday, November 15
“Holiday Prelude” will kick off the fabulous holiday season in Fredericksburg on Tuesday, November 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Swallows Eve, located at 1411 Lower Crabapple Road in Fredericksburg.
Holiday hors d’oeuvres created by Chef Abi Velez, Culinary Operations Director of Elements Hospitality/Swallows Eve, will be paired with award winning Texas wines, beer and bourbon.
The fabulous treats will be paired with tastings from Airis’Ele Vineyards, Altstadt Brewery, Becker Vineyards, Garrison Brothers Distillery, Grape Creek Vineyards, Kuhlman Cellars, Lost Draw Cellars/William Chris Vineyard, Narrow Path Winery & Vineyard, Pedernales Cellars, Signor Vineyards and Texas Heritage Vineyard.
Guitarist and composer Kevin McCormick will be providing musical selections for the event.
Sponsors for the evening include the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau and Mustard Design. Special thanks to Mike Skinner for his design of the invitation, to Fischer and Wieser for recipe development, to Pivotol for assistance with event photography and to the Swallows Eve team for their assistance with the venue and catering.
Proceeds will help underwrite the architectural design and site planning for facilities for FlavoryTX (formerly known as the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts), at the Hill Country University Center in Fredericksburg.
Tickets are $95 per person and must be purchased in advance at flavorytx.com/events. Only two VIP tables are still available at $1,200, which includes reserved seating for eight.
Attire for the event is festive holiday casual.
