First half of 2022: Austin (Travis County) experienced a 12.6% increase in median home valuations

The median assessed value of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Austin in Travis County rose by $41,992 while total valuation increased by 18.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 1,478 homes sold, with a median home valuation of $375,542 - a 12.6 percent increase over the $333,550 median valuation for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,250 homes sold in Austin in the first half of 2021.
