City of Lago Vista recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Lago Vista is excited to announce the extension of the Lago Bucks shopping period until December 31, 2020.
Full distribution of CARES Act funding designated by Travis County to the City of Lago Vista was received last week, thereby allowing for the Lago Bucks program to be extended until the end of the year.
The CARES Act Provides Assistance for State, Local, and Tribal Governments. Through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, the CARES Act provides for payments to State, Local, and Tribal governments navigating the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. The CARES Act established the $150 billion Coronavirus Relief Fund.
