Austin Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 29
Facebook's grant program includes $40 million for American small businesses
Chamber member Facebook will be distributing $2.5 million to businesses in the Austin area. The program will provide cash grants and ad credits to help businesses keep their workforce strong, manage operational costs, and stay connected with their customers.
Facebook is also placing a special emphasis on outreach and investment in eligible minority- and women-owned businesses who may be more directly impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis.
