CITY OF BRYAN: COVID-19 cases rising in our community; shelter-in-place order mandatory to stop the spread

Covid

City of Bryan issued the following announcement on March 28

COVID-19 cases are rising fast in our community, according to health officials. Every person and business MUST comply with the shelter-in-place order to stop the spread. If we continue on this path, number of cases will overwhelm our community’s hospitals. Officials will begin to enforce this order. If you don’t need to leave, stay home. Stricter steps may be required if people don’t stay home.

  • Read the order and FAQs
Take this seriously. Every person who does their job today is going to help in the long run. Do your part to flatten the curve.

  • Wash your hands 3 times per hour.
  • Bring hand sanitizer with you everywhere.
  • Practice social distancing (even outside).
If you see violations of the shelter-in-place order, call the Bryan Police Department at (979) 209-5300.
