Texas State men’s golf student-athlete Siltala was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference third team, conference officials announced on May 5. This marks the third consecutive season that a Texas State player has received all-league recognition.

The honor highlights Siltala’s performance during his final year with the Bobcats. He led the team with a scoring average of 71.7 and posted eight rounds in the 60s, as well as twenty rounds at even or under par. Siltala also recorded six eagles and made 123 birdies throughout the season.

Out of thirty-three rounds played, twenty-nine contributed to the team’s overall score. His season included a career-low round of 64 at the Hal Williams Collegiate in spring and leadership in six out of eleven tournaments. Siltala achieved four top-10 finishes, with his best result being fifth place at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational.

In 2025, Siltala became the first Texas State golfer to qualify for the NCAA Division I National Championships after finishing as runner-up at the NCAA Amherst Regional. He previously earned All-Sun Belt Conference second team honors as both a junior and sophomore, and has been recognized as a Cobalt All-America Scholar, CSC Academic All-District selection, and member of the Sun Belt Commissioner’s List. Additionally, he has twice been named Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week.

Siltala’s achievements underscore his consistent contribution to Texas State men’s golf over four years.
