On Sunday, March 16, former Wimberley High School standout Matthew Tippie’s current college team, the Texas State Bobcats, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark against Baylor Bears.
